C-AFM Offset Correction

The C-AFM sensor offset is adjusted with a potentiometer, which is covered by the flat head screw on the bottom of the sensor housing, shown in Figure 1.

  1. View the Scope display.
  2. Remove the screw on the sensor housing and carefully adjust the Offset Adjustment potentiometer with the screw driver (provided in the application module accessory kit) until the signal is along the horizontal zero line. A limited range is available on the adjacent Gain Adjustment potentiometer.
  3. Adjust the Data Scale for better alignment.
