Capture Image

Captures and saves an image to disk in nanoscope format. This image can be exported as a BMP, JPEG, or TIFF file. Captured images may be parent objects of analysis nodes so that the analysis takes place immediately after the data has been captured.

Function Description

Capture File Name

Name of file to be captured. A full path may be specified, but if a complete path is not specified the "default capture path" (displayed in the Properties window of the My Recipe node) is used.

Overwrite Existing File

Specifies if the resulting image should overwrite an existing image file of the same name. If No, a new, sequential file will be created.

Auto File Export

Disabled or the type of file to which the captured NanoScope image is exported.

Export Channel

The Export Channel field specifies which channel should be exported.

NOTE: BMP, JPEG, and TIFF formats can not contain information about more than 1 channel.

Export Text Tags

This field is used to put notes in the "notes" tag for TIFF files.
