How to make a list of CMR substances, KLARA

Anders Liljeborg, updated 2022-11-28

CMR (Cancerous, Mutagenic, Reproductive harmful) substances must be treated careful. A CMR investigation should be done for each procedure involving a CMR registered product. This is to ensure that there are no other, less dangerous substances that could be used instead. A form should be filled out and signed by a responsible and knowledgeable person.

The type of listing described here gives all products/mixtures that contain a CMR-registered substance. This is regardless of the amount of CMR-substance in the product/mixture. Not all products listed here need a CMR investigation.

To find out what products that contain CMR-substances you have registered in you lab/department you can use KLARA. See the screenshot below how to do this.

In the Lists of selections the CMR-substances is chosen.

The other important tick boxes are encircled in green, the rest can be left as is.

A list will be generated, displayed in your browser. You can also download it as an excel file, if you tick the "Format" box in the first (above) page. See an example below.
