Clean water facilities

There is a separate clean water facility in the Nano Fab Lab. It is using the central de-ionized water as source. The unit is a MilliQ Reference from Merck-Millipore. It is equipped with the option to continuously indicate the TOC content in the product water.

• MilliQ Reference
  producing 2 liters per minute (max.) of clean water:
  • Resistivity 18.2 Megohm-cm
  • Conductivity 0.055 µS/cm
  • TOC < 5 ppb (µg/L)
  • Particles (0.22 µm) < 1 / ml

  The front panel shows data for the product water while filling your beaker, flask, etc. It can also be used to program specific volumes of water automatically.

• Albanova central de-ionized water:
  • Resistivity 0.77 - 1 Megohm-cm
  • Conductivity 1.0 - 1.3 µS/cm
  • Filtration down to 0.2 µm
