Profiler: No back scan before scan
Sometimes it can be very useful not to do the backwards movement before
starting the actual profile scan. This backwards movement is made for the
scanning movement, friction, drag, etc. to be fully stabilized before
collecting the actual surface profile data.
When scanning small areas or very close to an edge of the sample it
can be very useful to avoid this back-scan.
However the first part of the scan,
some micrometers, will be useless because the profiler tip is not
in equilibrium when collecting data.
