TUNA and TR Mode

Torsional Resonance Mode (TRmode) is an optional imaging technique that measures tip-sample interactions through torsional resonance of the SPM cantilever. Because the probe tip remains close to the sample, TRmode, unlike TappingMode, can be used in conjunction with TUNA.

NOTE: Information specific to TRmode can be found in Bruker Support Note 416, TRmode, NanoScope Version 7.
