The System Status Indicator, located above The Workflow Toolbar, displays information about the engage status of the probe as well as crucial system status information that affects operation.
Two engage status displays are available:

Two warning indicators can be displayed:

Absence of a warning indicator means that no problems have been detected.
These warning symbols may be displayed with either an Engaged or Withdrawn icon.
Clicking the System Status Indicator icon opens the System Status Indicator window, shown in Figure 1.

Each item in the System Status Indicator window has a red or yellow indicator next to it that indicates a problem with the status of that function.
Indicators are context-sensitive—they are dependent on the microscope type (Dimension Icon, Dimension FastScan, MultiMode...) as well as microscope mode (ScanAsyst, Tapping, Contact...).

A red hexagon indicates Danger. If the System Status Indicator is red, a withdrawn head can not be engaged. The following conditions can trigger a danger signal: |

Serial Number Mismatch
High Voltage Off
High Voltage Overheating
